Dr. Sana Sajan, Director of the American Aesthetic Medical Centre and Director of the Danube Welfare Center, is an individual who effortlessly juggles multiple roles and excels in each one. As the Director of the American Aesthetic Medical Centre, a renowned philanthropist, a brand ambassador for Dubai Women's Run, a mother of three, a TEDx speaker, horse rider, biker, poet, and a talented modern contemporary and Islamic calligraphy artist, Dr. Sana Sajan’s diverse talents and accomplishments are truly awe-inspiring. Her innate abilities were evident from an early age, where she consistently demonstrated excellence in various areas of her life.

Dr. Sana’s journey is a testament to her extraordinary abilities. From excelling in extracurricular activities and academics during her school days to becoming a doctor, she has always showcased her exceptional qualities. As a young child, she possessed a unique blend of philosophical thinking and scientific curiosity, setting her apart from her peers.

Dr. Sana started her career as a Medical Representative for Novartis where she worked between May 2010 and Dec 2011. She learned the ropes of marketing while working in this renowned company. She learned planning and executing which helped her gain insights into the market and ultimately achieve results. She also carried out business development activities like organizing CME meetings, group meetings, conferences, and scientific support to the Medical and paramedical staff. During the period she also edited a newsletter that helped her keep a tab on the market. She kept abreast of the updates on products, competitors, and market trends as well.

From 2012 until May 2014, Dr. Sana worked with another renowned brand, Pfizer at CVS Medical. During this period she worked with medical and healthcare professionals updating the clinical guidelines and benefits of the product range through presentations and product trials; focusing on achieving sales targets, and updates related to Pfizer products. She ensured that the developments are kept up to date within the sector through training and conferences.

Later, Dr. Sana joined Aster DM Healthcare as Senior Manager Marketing where she worked until May of 2015. At Aster, she developed marketing programs across the marketing mix -- advertising, direct marketing, internet, digital marketing, events, public relations, sales support, and more. At Aster, she was also into driving corporate tie-ups, doing analysis of the results, and making refinements to the plans to optimize results. She also focused on meeting business goals through marketing programs. Today, Dr. Sana is the Director of the Danube Welfare Center, heading the CSR division and spearheading activities.

Driven by her business acumen, Dr. Sana has successfully expanded the American Aesthetic Medical Centre across the GCC region. Her leadership skills and commitment to the well-being of her employees have fostered a happy and motivated team. Driven by her belief that nurturing employee happiness is crucial, she provides compensation and benefits and offers internal stimuli for growth. Dr. Sana's charisma and genuine love for people have earned her respect and admiration.

Along with her medical career, Dr. Sana has cultivated a passion for art, specializing in modern contemporary and Islamic calligraphy. Using acrylic and mixed media, she has created numerous art pieces that have garnered recognition from prominent figures such as Kamal Hassan, Nora Fatehi, and Sonu Nigam. In 2020, she was among 100 international artists showcased at the Zeearts Gallery event. Her painting, titled ‘Velocity’, was presented to HH Sheikh Nahyan by her father-in-law, Rizwan Sajan. Dr. Sana’s artistic pursuits have added another dimension to her impressive repertoire.

Dr. Sana is actively involved in initiatives to empower women and support children with special needs. Her dedication to making a positive difference in her community is a source of inspiration. She is currently working on establishing an affordable international school in Dubai, set to begin next year. Additionally, Dr. Sana is also involved in providing relief to nations affected by drought, For example, by supplying water where there is a considerable need, showcasing her commitment to global humanitarian efforts. Realizing that her art could be used to support Thalassemia patients as well as spread awareness about it, Dr. Sana decided to start an art exhibition. Art Lover International Festival (Alif) was organized to raise awareness and support Thalassemia patients. Her collection of 25 paintings is a blend of bold and beautiful shades with an oeuvre of modern contemporary and Islamic calligraphy.

Apart from Alif, Dr. Sana also serves another vital sector of the UAE population - the blue-collared workers. She visits labor accommodations and gives workers personality development classes and teaches them English. She and her team also give them computer literacy sessions. This helps them to get promotions, and hikes in salary and is not limited to any particular company’s employees but is open to all workers. So far, Sana and her team have trained over 5,000 students over five years. Dr. Sana and her team regularly go to JAFZA’s labor accommodations, where they hold sessions with a group of 50-100 workers.Dr. Sana also supports people of determination through her association with various schools of people of determination. Her life’s motto is: "Our legacy is not just what we do; it is about the number of lives we have touched and the number of should we have stirred."

Despite her outstanding achievements, Dr. Sana remains remarkably humble and grounded. She understands that true success lies not in material wealth but in how one treats others.
